Frequently asked questions

Clarity before you begin.

Understand what coaching is, how it works, and whether Iron & Olive is the right next step for you.

Is coaching the same as therapy?

No. Coaching focuses on education, practical skills, goals, accountability, relationships, and personal development. It does not diagnose or treat mental-health conditions.

Can faith be included?

Yes. Biblical and Christian coaching can be incorporated when you request it. People from all backgrounds are welcome.

Do you accept insurance?

No. Iron & Olive is a private-pay coaching service and does not bill health insurance or provide psychotherapy superbills.

Do you meet virtually?

Yes. Virtual coaching is available, along with in-person sessions in Jacksonville, North Carolina.

Can I work with Louis from another state?

You can inquire about online coaching from outside North Carolina. Share the state where you will attend sessions during your free consultation so Louis can confirm availability and fit before you book a paid session. Services remain non-clinical coaching and education.

What if I need clinical mental-health treatment?

Louis will be transparent when your needs fall outside coaching. When appropriate, he will recommend care from a licensed mental-health professional or another qualified provider.
